Walter H. Wahl, MD is a board-certified physician in psychiatry, family medicine, addiction medicine, and emergency medicine. His focus at Pathfinders is providing comprehensive yet conservative psychiatric care from the initial visit through the conclusion of treatment. Dr. Wahl has an extensive medical background and has worked most recently as a Psychiatrist with the Department of Defense (he is well versed in military culture, regulations, and constraints).

 

His expertise in psychiatry and comprehensive medical background affords his patients with a thorough and compassionate approach. Unlike many psychiatrists, Dr. Wahl typically spends an hour getting to know his patients and their needs, his follow-up appointments typically last 30-45 minutes to ensure his patients are receiving the best care possible and because of the depth of his medical training, he can communicate effectively with the providers that refer patients to him.
